Writing your resume

There are several different ways you can write your resume, but remember to keep it simple.  Recruiters read hundreds of resumes a week and they are looking for resumes that are clean, lots of white space, and generally easy to read.  It also sends the message that you, the candidate are pulled together and organized.  These two samples will help you; they both use tables so if you do not know how to create tables, ask someone for help.  If you rely on "tabs" and the space bar, there is a strong possibility that your resume will not format correctly when you send it to a recruiter or attach it as a Word document.  One way to prevent a format change is to PDF your resume.
